NO FCRA USE. This privately operated website has no affiliation with a local, state, or federal government body. Neither it nor its advertising partners offers a service for credit, employment, insurance, tenant, or other decisions regulated by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). Its purpose is to identify official criminal-record resources in St. Charles County and Missouri. It is not a private investigation firm or consumer reporting agency.
1. What This Website Is
This is a private reference site independent of every government office. It neither stores official criminal records nor retrieves records, conducts official checks, or files documents for a visitor.
Its material identifies St. Charles County Police, Corrections, the 11th Judicial Circuit, the Missouri State Highway Patrol Central Repository, and the Missouri Sex Offender Registry. Missouri Sunshine Law, Chapter 610, governs requests to public custodians; RSMo §43.500 addresses the Central Repository. Neither statute makes this site a public agency.
2. Rules for Using This Site
Users agree not to:
- Use the site in violation of federal, Missouri, or local law
- Harass, stalk, intimidate, or threaten another person
- Use content for hiring, housing, lending, insurance, or another regulated decision
- Attempt unauthorized entry into systems or data
- Operate bots, scrapers, or automated collection tools against the pages
- Interfere with performance or another visitor’s access
3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination
Information found here or through a linked tool may not be used to harass, stalk, intimidate, threaten, or discriminate against anyone. Misuse may also violate law. The Missouri Sex Offender Registry expressly warns that using registry information to facilitate a crime is illegal. Registry data supports public-safety awareness, not vigilantism or unlawful discrimination.
4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency
We are not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA and do not create credit reports, consumer reports, or official background checks. Advertising partners are not presented as providers for regulated screening. Information from this site or a linked tool may not be used to:
- Set creditworthiness or an insurance rate
- Make an employment decision
- Evaluate a rental or housing application
- Determine eligibility for a license, permit, or government benefit
- Carry out any other FCRA-regulated purpose
A regulated purpose requires the proper official or FCRA-compliant channel. MACHS is the Missouri State Highway Patrol criminal-history system, but the requester remains responsible for choosing a lawful product and use.
5. No Legal Advice
The material is not legal advice. General descriptions of St. Charles County records cannot determine how a charge, warrant, conviction, or expungement rule applies to one person. A licensed Missouri attorney can address that question.
6. No Warranties
All material is provided "as is." No promise is made that:
- A partner result will be complete or correctly matched
- The pages contain no error, bug, or security flaw
- The service will remain available without interruption
- Any item is complete, accurate, or current at a particular moment
Criminal files change as charges are filed, amended, dismissed, sealed, or expunged. Gaps and delays can occur. No statement here replaces the current record held by County Police, the Circuit Clerk, Corrections, or a Missouri agency.
7. Third-Party Services and Links
Links lead to county offices, court portals, Missouri agencies, legal resources, and outside search services. Those destinations control their own content, availability, charges, and data practices. Their terms should be reviewed before use.
8. Intellectual Property
Text, graphics, logos, and code belong to St. Charles County Criminal History or the applicable content partner. They may not be copied, distributed, changed, or used to create derivative material without prior written permission.
9. Limits on Our Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for loss or damage arising from site use, including reliance on material found here or through a linked service.
10. Indemnification
A user agrees to hold us harmless from claims, demands, or actions caused by that user’s conduct or breach of these terms, including related legal fees and costs.
11. Governing Law
Missouri law governs these terms. Any dispute tied to use of the website must be brought in a court located in Missouri.
12. Changes to These Terms
These terms may be revised. A revision takes effect when the new version is posted on this page.
13. Cutting Off Access
Access may be limited or ended at any time, with or without advance notice.
14. Severability
If one provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining terms stay effective. The affected text will be narrowed only as much as needed.
15. Questions
Questions about these conditions may be directed through the Contact page.
